Studio Nymånen is an art studio which is part of Nymånen kennel. Our enterprise includes dog sledding tours and handicrafts.
During winter I provide dog sledding tours for both foreign and swedish guests who come to experience winter in Swedish Lapland. When the snow has melted, I work in my art studio and with the daily care & training of the dogs.
As artist I am for the most part self tuitioned and I get my inspiration from the beautiful nature I live in year around. Most of my art is about sled dogs, hunting dogs and the wildlife which can be found in my surrounding.
Glass can like winter's frozen water - snow and ice - shine, sparkle and reflect natures colour palette. That is why glass has become the material I work most with. From glass I make jewelry, dishes, lamps and various art objects.
Glass from Studio Nymånen is also suited as business present and gift. Upon order, one can get its own motif or business logo on.
Paintings in aquarel and other technics like acryl or oil are also to be found in my studio.
Here i Norrbotten/Lapland my art is being sold among others at the Silvermuseum in Arjeplog, Smidesbutikken, and Konst & Hantverk i Luleå and at Mona Callenberg, Slöjdmaterial i Luleå. The studio is open upon request. Welcome!
